Cable locations

You will need to obtain a cable location when you are digging between the street boundary of your property and your home, unless you know the whereabouts of your service main.

Network cables are usually outside your property. If you are building a new fence along your boundary you could require a cable location to identify if there are cables in this vicinity.

Customers will typically need a cable location if they are: digging trenches, laying a driveway or erecting a fence.

To obtain a cable location please phone our 0800 800 935 to log a request.

Please be advised we require 4-5 working days notice.
