Notes and Terms Relating to WEL's Line Charge Pricing Options:

The following conditions apply in respect of all Line Charges detailed in this Disclosure:

  1. The Annual Discount tariffs will be credited in arrears to all consumers (defined to be an ICP) on the WEL Network as at the 31st March each year.
  2. The discount will not be applied to ICPs that are: disconnected, at a vacant address or use unmetered load.
  3. The above Prices are stated exclusive of GST.
  4. A month is defined as a calendar month.
  5. Peaktime Demand Periods are weekdays excluding public holidays from 0800-1100 & 1700-2100 hours.
  6. Winter is defined as the period from 1st May to 30th September (inclusive) and summer is defined as the period from 1st October to 30th April (inclusive).
  7. Additional transformer charges or rebates may apply to large customers.
  8. Power factor worse than 0.95 will be charged for reactive energy usage.
