Electricity Information Disclosure Requirements
Current Charges from 1 April 2010
The new line charges are effective from 1 April 2010 and are provided in the notice, pursuant to Requirement 27 of the Electricity Information Disclosure Requirements 2004. Please note that as line charges are included in your electricity retailers invoice, the timing and method for passing through these line charges will be determined by your retailer.
Line Charges for the traditional WEL Networks area covering areas from Hamilton , Raglan, Huntly and north to Meremere.
These tarrifs include the recovery of transmission line charges to WEL Networks. For customers in the WEL traditional network area they are the transmission charges from Transpower, and for customers in all other regions they are the connection charges from your incumbent network company.
Their allocation is shown separately in the line charge schedules attached.
