As the coronavirus (Covid-19) situation unfolds our team is closely monitoring updates, assessing the best course of action to ensure the continued safety of our community and to keep your power flowing. We have a pandemic plan in place to ensure essential power services are maintained.

Update: 17 August 2021

We have immediately actioned our pandemic plan and implemented safety precautions. Our reception is closed to the public and office-based employees are working remotely. Our crews have implemented bubble working. Planned shutdowns for Wednesday 18th August have been postponed. Thank you for your understanding as we keep our crews and our community safe.

Keeping safe in Alert Level 4:

  • Our crews will be working in bubbles, keeping a 2m distance from others and will be taking extra safety precautions when working on sites. Please advise us immediately if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or if you are feeling unwell so our crew members can take additional safety measures.
  • We are taking extra precautions with additional cleaning and disinfecting across all areas of our business and our equipment and vehicles.
  • We are capturing tracing information for the safety of our staff, customers and communities.
