In 2010, WEL Networks became exempt from price control under part 4 of the Commerce Act 1986 due to our Community ownership structure.
Under direction from our owner, WEL Energy Trust, we continue to voluntarily and informally follow the prices that we believe would have been set as if we had not been exempt.
